A world with fixed bass is a better world.
Right now, someone is listening to their favorite song through bass that's thin, muddy or just gone. We're fixing that — 20,000 basses, one phone at a time. Yours first, then everyone you know.
Typical earbuds and phone speakers: everything under 100 Hz rolls off, and the song goes flat.
Every checked video moves the counter. When it hits 20,000, the world sounds a little better.
What we believe
- 01Bass is the part of a song you feel.Take it away and the kick drum turns into a tap, the bassline disappears, and the song loses its pulse.
- 02Nobody should put up with broken bass.Tinny earbuds, a boomy car, a laptop that sounds like a phone call. Millions of people listen like this every day and think that's just how it sounds.
- 03Fixing it takes a minute and costs nothing.Steady EQ's bass knob and genre presets are free, with no ads and no account. All it takes is someone to show you.
- 0420,000 fixed basses make a better world.Every fix is one person whose music sounds right again. Show them, film it, and pass it on.
How to fix a bass
Yours, your best friend's, your dad's car. It takes a minute, and the bass knob is free.
Both in the caption. No exceptions.
The first 50 start the movement.
Send us a video of you fixing a bass with Steady EQ. Once we've checked it, you get two lifetime Steady EQ Pro codes — one for you, and one to hand to the next person whose bass needs fixing.
Every Pro feature, yours for good: personal sound, fine-tune filters, per-app and per-device presets.
Give it to the next person whose bass you fix. That's how a movement grows.
You get something from us for posting, so your video is an ad — and we say so. A movement about fixing things doesn't start by hiding things. #steadyeq is how we, and everyone watching, find your fix.

Ambassador rules
Who can become an early ambassador?
Anyone 16 or older, once per person. The first 50 entries we accept are the early ambassadors. If we can't accept an entry, its spot goes to the next person.
What does the video need?
It has to show Steady EQ fixing a bass — yours or someone else's — and it has to be public, with both #steadyeq and #ad in the caption. Before and after in one clip works best.
Can I fix someone else's bass?
Please do — that's the whole idea. Ask first, and only post them if they're happy to be in the video.
How and when do I get my codes?
We watch every video ourselves. Once yours checks out, we email you two lifetime Steady EQ Pro codes. You redeem them in the Google Play Store; one is yours, the other is yours to give away. Keep the video public until they arrive.
Why do I have to add #ad?
Because you get something from us for posting, which makes it an ad. Saying so is the honest thing to do, and in most countries it's the law.
Which platforms count?
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads, Reddit and Snapchat. The link has to point to a public post.
Do I need Pro to fix a bass?
No. The Bass knob, the 10-band EQ and the genre presets are all free. Pro adds extras like personal sound and per-device presets.
Can we share your video?
Only if you tick the box that lets us. Then we may repost it on Steady EQ's channels and this site, always with credit to you. You can take that back any time by emailing [email protected].
Go fix a bass. Then another.
Steady EQ is free on Android. Open it, turn the bass knob, and hear the song the way it was meant to sound.
